Who should pick which
Pick Kloak if you also need it on Android, want more cover styles (bloom, custom stickers, freeform drawing) or different effects per person in one clip, and its subscription or $69.99 lifetime price suits you. Both apps find faces on the device and let you keep chosen people visible.
Pick Anonimo if you want a free tier that exports real clips (up to 30 seconds), a one-time Pro at $14.99 or $9.99 a year with no weekly plan, or if your iPhone runs iOS 17 to 26. Both run on the device without uploading.

Questions
Is Anonimo a Kloak alternative?
Yes. Both blur faces in video on the iPhone without uploading it. Anonimo is free up to 30 seconds and Pro is $9.99 a year or $14.99 once; Kloak's free tier is a 10-second preview and its Pro is a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription or a $69.99 lifetime purchase, as listed on the App Store on 2026-10-16.
Does either app upload the video?
Anonimo does not; it has no upload code and the App Store label is "Data Not Collected". For Kloak, see its listing, linked in the table.
Can both keep one person visible and blur the rest?
Yes, both. Each finds the faces, groups them by person, and lets you tap who stays visible; Kloak can also give different people different effects.
